The gardens

The gardens

A living estate

Here, the garden is not merely to be looked at. It is to be walked through, picked and tasted.

Around the house, Eladâr’s gardens blend into the landscape of the Atlas. Orchards, olive trees, a kitchen garden and pathways shape a living estate, moulded by the seasons and designed with respect for its surroundings.

You walk there at daybreak, stop under a tree, pick a fruit or a few herbs for the kitchen. Further down, the farm extends this life of the estate. A simple, generous nature that is fully part of the Eladâr experience.

Picking through the seasons

Lemon trees, citrus and fruit trees punctuate the gardens and offer, month after month, whatever the season is willing to give. The fruit is picked when ripe, sometimes straight from the tree, and naturally finds its place at Eladâr’s table.

A freshly pressed juice in the morning, some fruit at breakfast or a lemon picked a few minutes before reaching the kitchen: here, luxury also lies in these simple gestures and in the pleasure of rediscovering the taste of the seasons.

From tree to oil

Olive trees are part of the Eladâr landscape and naturally line the paths of the estate. When harvest time comes, their olives are picked to produce the house olive oil.

An oil that tells the story of the estate in another way, from tree to table, and that finds its place in Eladâr’s kitchen. A simple way of extending the link between the landscape, the seasons and what we share around a meal.

Growing differently

Eladâr’s kitchen garden is cultivated according to the principles of permaculture, with an approach attentive to the seasons, to resources and to the natural balance of the soil.

Vegetables, aromatic herbs and crops change throughout the year and, when the harvests allow, complement the produce used in the kitchen. The kitchen garden is not only nourishing: it is part of the life of the estate and of this desire to stay as close to the earth as possible.

The farm

Life at the estate

A little further from the house, the farm reveals another side of Eladâr. Donkeys, hens, turkeys and even a dromedary live there at the pace of the estate and contribute to its deeply rural character.

You come across them on a walk, watch the animals or simply reconnect with the closeness of country life. For children and adults alike, the farm often becomes one of those unexpected experiences remembered long after the stay.

Another way to inhabit Eladâr, closer to the land and to those who live on it.
